and....videos.

I don't think I've posted this one yet. It's an older video of Tillman crying. Yes, I know it sounds like cruel and unusual punishment, but I think it's so cute. I smile when I watch it b/c it's cute to me. Please don't call DSS on me. :)

ladies and gentleman, we have videos!

Well, as usual Tillman can't keep her hands out of her mouth. She's constantly exploring with them in her mouth and sucking on them. Nana thinks she's going to start cutting teeth soon, but she hasn't been fussy, so we'll see. She's mighty drooly and infatuated with her hands and fingers. She's even found her feet and toes to play with a few times as well.

Here's the entertainment:

It's been a week.

I just realized I haven't updated the blog in a week. Needless to say, I guess we've been busy since then. Tillman has really taken a liking to her two "jumping" toys lately. They are the Jenny Jump-Up that you hook to a door frame and the Barnyard Jumperoo. She loves hanging out in them, jumping around, and trying to figure out all the toys that are attached.

She's rolling here and there, but nothing too extreme.  We are working on more tummy time and rolling her ourselves to show her how easy it is. She hasn't rolled over again since the first post I wrote about it. The doctor told us at her 4 month appt. that bigger babies usually take longer to roll over since there's more for them to move.

She's still talking nonstop, giggling out loud, and as cute as ever.
 Who? Me?

This is one of the first outfits we bought once we found out we were having a baby girl.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Where do I start? ... Last night was an interesting night at our house. We are trying new nighttime diapers on Tillman this week. Pampers were just not cutting it, so we are trying Huggies Overnights this week. So far, knock on wood, they are doing great and we have had all dry mornings! :)

Well, Josh and I are working on letting Tillman "cry it out" if  she stirs or gets restless for some reason or another during the night. However, this week, since we are trying new diapers, we decided to go check that first to eliminate it as the source of the problem.  So last night Tillman cried out for a minute or two at close to 4:00 a.m. I went upstairs to check her diaper and she was fine, so I gave her the pacy and went back to bed. Well, come 4:30, here she goes again..which is completely unlike Tillman because I consider her to be a good sleeper through the night.

Well, since we are letting her cry it out, we didn't go upstairs this time. This crying fit, not wailing, but more of an "I'm unhappy, come fix me" kind of a cry, lasted almost an hour. Yes, I feel like a horrible parent... especially because when we went up to check on her this morning she was ROLLED OVER on her back!!! She was also perpendicular to how we laid her down last night. The girl had been moving all over her crib and hates to sleep on her back. Well, she has now learned how to roll over onto her back which is something we will now have to deal with until she can learn to roll herself back to her tummy. Needless to say, last night was not the best quality sleep.

Now I can't wait to play with her and watch her roll over myself. This rolling over is a good thing, just not at 4:30 in the morning during the work week.

Anyways, on to the pictures.... :)

Jenny Jump-Up & talking nonstop

I thought I would share a few quick pictures of Tillman's first week as a 4 month old. I'm pretty bummed because I am having trouble uploading videos now. I have some really cute ones that I would love to share, but I am having technical difficulties with that. I hope to try with them again soon.
Tillman is staying with a family friend, Nana, during the day while Josh and I are at work. Praise the Lord it is going fabulously so far and Nana just loves on Tillman all day. We are SO extremely blessed to have her!! She's been having great days talking and playing with Nana and Dawson.
Some of her favorite things to do now are talk (all the time!), hold things and manipulate toys with both hands, watch Yo Gabba Gabba in the morning while Mommy and Daddy get ready for work, play in the bumbo with the tray on, playing naked, and so much more.
