What a cutie!

I've been having so much fun playing nonstop with Tillman this past week. It was my last week staying home with her before returning to work. I'm devastated that I have to go back, but I realize it's just one of those things that has to be done. Josh and I are fortunate enough to be able to stay home with her together over the summer months for some serious family bonding time. :) Josh will be taking his 6 weeks leave starting on Monday, so hopefully he will keep the pictures coming. I'm curious to see how those two (Josh and Tillman) will do home alone together. I'm sure I will be getting plenty of texts throughout the day. Here are some of the pictures I took while soaking it all in with Tillman this past week.

10 weeks

Little Miss Tillman is 10 weeks old today. She is growing so quickly; we can't keep up! It's been so much fun watching the changes she makes and how she is learning new tricks each day. Her favorite things to do now are smile, giggle silently, kick her legs furiously, and she is starting to grasp objects but not hold them. She still hates tummy time with a passion and always gets grumpy when we try. She is still good at sitting in the bumbo with supervision and playing on her mat on her back. She is swatting at the toys that hang down in her face now. As always, here are a few pictures of our favorite little girl:

9 weeks tomorrow

I promise we did NOT pose her to be flipping the bird. This is an unfortunate natural talent of Tillman's.

Again, NOT posed. (Peace!)

Early morning kicking sessions

Here are some videos of Tillman doing her early morning routine of smiling, kicking, and yawning. She loves kicking her legs and we love her smile!

Snow!

This is Tillman's first big snowfall! We had some snow when we went home for the holidays, but it never stuck and wasn't much. Right now we have at least 6 inches of snow and it is still pouring down with some pretty big flakes. It's so pretty outside! We have all of our blinds open so we can enjoy the view for as long as it lasts. We took a quick video of Tillman in the snow. We also took several pictures. Here are few:

And, here is the video:

Christmas 2010

Josh, Tillman, and I went home for the holidays. We were fortunate enough to be able to spend 2 weeks down in the lowcountry with both sets of our parents. We spent the week leading up to Christmas with Josh's parents. Then, on Christmas day, we switched over households to stay with my parents until New Year's Day. We had a wonderful time and all of us got very spoiled! :) It was so nice for our parents to be able to spend so much time with Tillman. Here are just a few pictures from the holidays. We really didn't do a good job of taking enough pictures, but we were sooo busy just enjoying the time together. Here are a few to share.

2 month dr. visit + shots

Today was Tillman's 2 month check-up. She will be 8 weeks in two days. The appointment went well, except for the shots, and Tillman seems to be very healthy. Her length is now 24 inches (97%). Her weight is 11 lbs 10 oz (80%). Her head circumference is 15.5 (72%). The pictures below are deceiving - she did not have a smile on her face after the shots! I heard her scream a cry I had never heard before. The bad part is I laughed when I heard it. For some odd reason I think a pouty face and a cry is adorable - except when I'm trying to sleep. I think I had just changed a big dirty diaper in the pictures, hence the smile. We go back in 2 months for another check-up and more shots.

Tillman discovering her vocal cords

I was having play time with Tillman today and she was being very vocal. I thought it was the cutest thing so I ran and grabbed the flip camera to take a quick video. This was so much fun and I can't wait to hear more of her cute little voice! She is 7 1/2 weeks old in the video and goes to the doctor tomorrow for a well-visit. I will post the news hopefully tomorrow. Enjoy! (Christmas post to come soon.)
