Slacker, Maybe.

Well, I've been slack about posting lately. I've been slack about taking pictures lately. But, I haven't been slack about staying busy and enjoying my summer. I will admit, I've had a few moments this past week of sheer boredom, accompanied by a few moments of, "I think I'm going to lose my mind."

This past week was okay/alright, not my favorite of the summer. Josh was working a lot of hours away from the house taking care of the property he manages in Clemson; he's found new tenants that are moving in soooooon. He's also been away for football some nights too, and taking care of our 2nd house's situation. So, I've had a looooooot of "Mommy, Tillman time" in the last week and I'm officially ready for a break.

Enough complaining. Here's what I can remember that has been going on this past week, well, since the last post. I'm sure I'll leave something out. That's why I try to take so many pictures, so I won't forget what I've been doing with myself.

- Recap: Wednesday was pool date with Sunday School friends
- painting T's toe nails hot pink
- watching Dora, T's new obsession
- mini-shopping spree
- our 2nd house is under contract!!!!!!!
- airport to welcome McKinley home
- cooking new things: homemade mozzerella sticks, roasted cauliflower, gnocchi
- cooking not new things: egg salad, banana nut bread, sausage bundles
- rearranging furntiure for the heck of it
- lots of mini projects (that involve Josh's handiwork)
- officially joining BCBC!!
- Kelly's Kids clothing party
- starting to clean in preparation for our company next week :)
- and.....I'm too tired to think of anything else that might have happened between now and then...

I surprised myself with this one...hot pink.

New IKEA bookshelves in T's room
(*sidenote: I randomly rearranged the furniture in her room, but didn't rearrange any of the wall decor. So if it looks funny, that's why. I'm still trying to decide what to do with her room paint wise.)

Another set of shelves

A shot with all the new shelves

This is what T did while Daddy worked hard to get everything hung; playing with a box of 100 wood screws.

Playing peek-a-boo

Boo!

This is what happens when you let T push the button.

What does a duck say?

new welcome mat - love!

new owl and white square frame; still looking for a new lampshade

moved these IKEA wire baskets from the kitchen into the guest bathroom

quick peek

another view - oh, and hand towel rack finally hung

new bulletin board in the playroom to display T's work

We moved the loveseat out of the playroom so we could have more room to play - This is what we did with that space.
(*another sidenote: I'm sooooo excited to have our painters come back and paint at least 3 more rooms in our house!! This will be one of them. Grey with grey and white stripes on accent walls.)
