EEE!

Today I spent my day working in my new classroom at my new school, East End Elementary! I am very excited about this move and I feel much better after having spent the day getting down and dirty unpacking boxes and moving furniture. Josh and Tillman accompanied me the first half of the day, and McKinley kept me company the second half of the day. I feel good about all we got accomplished, and I am anxious to get back in there and do more.

Here's a very quick sneak peek at my new room:
Keep in mind this was just one day's work.

Reading nook/corner - you can barely see the table/chairs that will be used for small group/guided reading lessons

In front of my desk - where I will sit to read read alouds and lead reading lessons

The 3rd and final bulletin board - not sure if I will keep the table there or not

* And in other, unrelated news: Tonight is Tillman's first night going to bed sans a pacifier. I definitely snuck this up on her out of nowhere, so there were many a tear shed. However, she seems to have settled down and is hopefully getting some quality sleep. My goal is for her to be 100% pacifier-free by the time school starts back up mid-August. Please pray this is a smooth transition for all 3 of us!!
