As mentioned in the previous post, we have been going full-speed ahead, and haven't slowed down much. Some of our plans did change from what was laid out in the last post.
We didn't go berry picking Thursday morning, but instead we ran errands all over town. We did make it to the lake with some friends Thursday evening. It was great. Tillman is getting so much more comfortable in the water, and was even "jumping in" by herself with Josh and I still in the boat.
Tillman and I need sunglasses for this picture. I took mine off so I could get in the water. Tillman decided to throw hers overboard. Don't worry, we got her a new pair today. We couldn't go to the beach for a week with no sunglasses.
She's in charge now.
Enjoying the ride.
This morning Tillman and I met back up with Christy and Nolan to go to the Greenville Zoo.
Not a great shot. Elephant rear ends.
Feeding goats, which Tillman referred to as "sheep. baa."
She was taken back by how massive this pot-bellied pig is.
This leopard kept pacing back and forth in front of them. T was so funny because she kept following the leopard back and forth saying, "More. More." She didn't understand to just stand still and watch the leopard do all the walking.
This was both of their favorites.
Sooo cute.
We also had to cancel our dinner plans for tonight because the hosts' little girl came down with croup last night. :( So we will reschedule for another time. Instead, Heather came over to hang out. We ended up going to Anderson and getting T more things she doesn't need for the beach: 2 bathing suits, 4 pairs of flip flops, and 2 tank tops. Spoiled. Then we came home and finished packing for our trip. We leave in 6 hours!! I might need to wrap this post up so I can go get some sleep.
And... this is my new favorite thing that came in the mail today!!!
A vinyl wall decal I ordered online to go in our newly painted foyer. Love it.
It's slate grey and white.
Here's a close up look.
And a little bit further away...
Welcome to our home.
I just realized the lamp on the table really blends in to the color of the wall. I guess that's just an excuse to go shopping for a new one! ;)
