Tillman is SLOWLY starting to put some weight on her arms and legs in the crawling position. She really has no interest whatsoever being on her stomach unless she is sleeping. We've been working with her on the crawling position. She's also really good at standing, assisted of course. She seems to prefer standing to the crawling position. I jokingly told Josh she might just skip the crawling stage and go straight to walking.
Tillman is still a nonstop talker, morning, noon, and night. I LOVE listening to her talk and have her own conversations, of which I have no clue what she is saying. Every now and then she'll blurt out a "Dadda" and we've been encouraging her and practicing with her to say "Dadda." Josh me why I'm not pushing her to say "Mama" and I said it's because she's so close to saying Dadda that I just want her to say something, I don't care what it is. I know the day will come when she utters that sweet word, "Mama."
This is completely random, but I'm quite proud of myself for trying something new this week. I follow a friend of mine's blog and on it she frequently puts new recipes to try with pictures of the meals on her blog. I have tried 3 of her recipes so far: maple pecan chicken, squash casserole, and bbq ribs. I made the ribs last night and they turned out really well. I was so proud of myself I even took a picture!
On to the real reason you probably even read my blog.... the pictures of our beautiful baby girl! :)
Tillman is so tall now, she is on the highest height adjustment possible for this WONDERFUL toy!!
playtime with Daddy
Tillman LOVES these two packages that I keep on the changing table. She loves the noise they make and she always picks them up to play with when she's finished getting a clean diaper.
